18 July 2016: Day Twenty Three

I got the opportunity to visit the slums and jhopad pattis of Kanjurmarg today. Divya Didi was visiting the homes of her students to have a chat with the parents – this was something she regularly did, just so that she could build a stronger parent-teacher-student relationship. I tagged along with her, and we spent a total of an hour and a half visiting the homes of different students. I had a very interesting time – there were around 10 students accompanying us, and our group was making a lot of noise moving between the narrow lanes to each home.

Please refer to all my raw notes for a detailed account of the day. Below are some pictures.

Later, I took some more selfies with some very sweet students at Asha. Those pictures and stories are recorded in my handwritten notes and phone.
